Leading Practices and Guidelines

Leading practices are those activities which consistently create safe conditions and can be replicated by others to produce those same results.  Organizations such as CUTR, the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), and the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) routinely publish leading practices. These best practices are often borne out of the ingenuity of transit safety practitioners.  Please use the contact form if there are leading practices you’d like to contribute to the website, or would like to request addition of best practices in a particular area. The transit safety listserv also serves as a resource for sharing leading practices among practitioners at Florida transit agencies.
