Driver Fatigue

Driver Fatigue is often reported as a causal or contributing factor in NTSB investigation reports related to public transit incidents or those involving over the road buses (OTRB).  Included within this section are resources, including training materials and presentations; transit agencies model policies, practices, and procedure; and research reports that address driver fatigue, including those that specifically address transit operator on-duty and driving hours, in an effort to educate, advise, and assist transit agencies effectively respond to or mitigate driver fatigue-related issues.
