2016 FPTA/FDOT/CUTR Professional Development Workshop and Transit Safety Summit

The 2016 FPTA/FDOT/CUTR Professional Development Workshop and Transit Safety Summit will be held on June 6-8, 2016 at the Embassy Suites-USF in Tampa, Florida. The statewide workshop offers a unique professional development opportunity for Florida’s public transportation supervisors, front-line employees, and other key staff in operations, maintenance, marketing, planning and administration. This one-stop-workshop offers excellent opportunities to learn from industry experts, attend professional development training, gather information about innovative industry research, and network with peers.

The Florida Transit Safety Network will be hosting its Annual Transit Safety Summit the day before the Professional Development Workshop. This summit is open to all Florida public transit professionals who are interested in promoting and improving transit system safety.

The Workshop and Summit are for mid-level managers, supervisors and other key staff currently employed by Florida public agencies (eg: Florida transit systems, FDOT, etc.), Community Transportation Coordinators, planning agencies, transportation providers, and/or Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) members.

Registration is FREE to all Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) members. There is a $75 registration fee for ALL non-members. For additional membership information please contact Lisa Bacot, FPTA Executive Director.
